This award recognizes Corporate Members for outstanding contributions made to a local Chapter and the National Organization in the furtherance of the goals of the chapter and the society. To be nominated for this award a Corporation must have been a corporate member for two consecutive years.
KPMG LLP – Distinguished Winner
KPMG LLP, the U.S. member firm of KPMG international, the audit, advisory, and tax firm, is being recognized this year as the Corporate Member of the Year. Since joining ASMC in 1998, KPMG has increased the level of educational assistance, volunteers, and financial support to help chapters and the national headquarters further their goals. KPMG's involvement with the ASMC goes “beyond the Beltway” to include membership and educational assistance to Quantico, Rock Island, Southside Virginia, Keystone, Buckeye, and Indianapolis chapters.
In addition to active participation by more than 100 employees, KPMG employees were presenters of three workshops at PDI 2016, have been selected to present three workshops at PDI 2017, and are contributors to Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) thought leadership pieces on DoD issues (PP&E and Cost Management) CY 2015 to present (CY 2017). KPMG employees this past year also served in key volunteer roles within the Washington chapter, as well as lending financial support as a sponsor to both the National PDI and Washington chapter Mini-PDI.
KPMG has been a leader in partnering with ASMC National Headquarters staff to develop the Early Careerist Initiative.
