As the new school year begins, we're reminded that learning should never end. The same goes for our professional training. That's why, in recognition of our members' dedication to the financial management profession and their concern for their own professional development, we are discounting the CDFM enrollment fee (for ASMC members) in October.

Already a CDFM or pursuing your CDFM? Be sure to check out the many options to maintain your CDFM and earn CPE/CETs!

EARN CPEs/CETs TO MAINTAIN YOUR CDFM (AND ALSO DOD FM) CERTIFICATION

PDI 2017

Do you need access to CPE/CET credits earned at the 2017 PDI in San Diego? All attendees were emailed an official confirmation letter of all CPEs earned shortly after PDI, however, you can also access a copy of this confirmation letter and printable certificates here. If you are missing your Registration number, which you will need to log in, please contact RHQ at 702-798-8376.

Virtual PDI 2017

For those who attended PDI 2017, access to Virtual PDI was included in the PDI 2017 registration fee. For those who were unable to attend PDI 2017, Virtual PDI allows individuals to earn CPE/CETs for $99 (approximately $1 per available CPE/CET).

Participation in Virtual PDI allows you to self-certify CPE/CETs for the CDFM Program; however, based upon DoD policy, participation in Virtual PDI does not provide direct credit toward meeting DoD FM Certification Program requirements.

PDI 2018

Looking for even more CPEs? PDI 2018, hosted in Denver, CO, will provide attendees the opportunity to earn over 20 CPEs. The theme for PDI 2018 is “Mountains to Climb: Achieving Peak Performance” and the event will continue to offer the premier training and education that PDI attendees have come to rely upon. Beyond the CPE credits available to attendees, the PDI will provide a valuable forum for participants from HQs, major commands, and installation levels to collaborate with leadership, peers, vendors, and clients. This event will also showcase individuals and teams recognized by ASMC for their excellent contributions to the field of defense financial management.

Registration for PDI 2018 will be open in late February and a dedicated website with the PDI information will be available at that time.

CDFM REFRESHER TRAINING

UPDATE YOUR WORK EMAIL TO YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL IN YOUR ASMC MEMBER PROFILE

Given certain situations regarding cyber security protocols, emails from ASMC HQ or your local chapter may not always make it through servers and reach your work inbox, so we ask you to update your DoD email address to your personal email address in your ASMC member profile. We want to ensure you receive important announcements and notifications that directly impact your professional development. Log onto and update your profile here.
