COL Deborah A. Ashenhurst, CDFM-A, named Ohio’s adjutant general by Gov. elect John Kasich

 

Col. Deborah A. Ashenhurst, CDFM-A, a member of the NGAUS Board of Directors, was named Ohio’s adjutant general by Gov.-elect John Kasich. She will take over her new duties on Jan. 10, 2011.  She will be promoted to Brigadier General and then later to Major General as the Adjutant General of Ohio. 

Col. Ashenhurst is currently serving as the Deputy United States Property and Fiscal Officer for Ohio.  She has previously served as the Comptroller and Purchasing and Contracting Officer for the Ohio National Guard along with many other assignments.  Col. Ashenhurst also possess the ASMC CDFM-A certification and has been a member of ASMC since 1994.
