The Texas Army National Guard. He served as a CH 47 helicopter pilot with an alternate military specialty of Logistics and Supply Management.
After leaving active-duty, Ed joined Texas Instruments as a Manufacturing Supervisor, where his career in operations progressed to Engineering Manager and Operations Manager. After ten years in operations, he moved to the business side of the corporation, starting out as Senior Buyer and progressing to Purchasing Manager and, after changing companies, he retired as Vice President, Strategic Sourcing at Entegris, (En-teg-ris) Inc.
Ed has been working with ASMC for over ten years teaching Acquisition Business Management. When he is not busy teaching, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, traveling around the world with his wife and spending time with their two daughters and three grandchildren.
