Service Day Program Information

June 1 is Service Day at PDI 2011, a day set aside for each service to break in to sessions that are specific to that service or agency. 


Chapter Training
Chapter Informational Roundtables will be conducted Wednesday and Thursday morning at 0700. National representatives will moderate open discussion on various chapter development topics. Potential session topics include Membership, Awards, Strategic Planning, Fundraising, Community Service, and Legal Issues. A final schedule of these sessions will be printed in the on-site program brochure.

ASMC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Become a Volunteer at PDI 2011!
Ever wonder what it would be like to work behind the scenes at a National PDI? Here is your chance! We will be taking applications for volunteers to serve as Assistant Instructors (AIs) at PDI 2011 Please note that all AIs must have attended at least one PDI in the past four years. AI responsibilities include:

  • Liaison with speaker for workshop and other PDI needs prior to the PDI 
  • Attend AI training conference call (date TBD) and volunteer training at PDI (Tuesday afternoon) 
  • Attend morning meeting each day of assignment 
  • Assist in speaker ready room as needed 
  • Introduction of speaker(s) at PDI 
  • Ensure workshop flows smoothly (problem solving, timeliness, chart flipping) 
  • Follow up with any issues after the PDI
