Congratulations to the winners of the 2023 ASMC Corporate Membership Award!

This award recognizes Corporate Members for outstanding contributions made to a local Chapter and the National Organization in the furtherance of the goals of the chapter and the society. To be nominated for this award a Corporation must have been a corporate member for two consecutive years.

Distinguished: Decision Lens

Decision Lens developed a custom presentation for Sandhills Chapter that focused on Moving from Data Validation to Data Analysis. The company sent a subject matter expert from their office in Washington, DC to Fort Bragg, NC to present the information during a monthly professional development luncheon. A few months later, Decision Lens presented on another topic – Scenario Planning and PPBE – at our Mini-PDI in April. Like the previous event, the company sent multiple people to Fort Bragg to present in person and engage with chapter members. They presented to ten other chapters throughout the year. Their support of local chapter events has permitted our members to grow in their professional development and obtain many hours of CE.

In the area of financial support: Decision Lens has been very generous by donating to chapters for scholarship fund and support of the mini-PDIs. They have contributed at the Platinum level for our chapter events,  permitting the Chapter’s ability to reach the FM community, strengthening our membership and mission. They have also been an avid supporter at the national level, sponsoring the PDI.

Meritorious: BDO Public Sector, LLC

BDO is a long-term, continuous Gold-Level sponsor to our chapters. BDO has continued to contribute vital hours of endorsing professional development to our local chapter members, as well as to the National Capital Region and the National Organization events. At the National level, BDO is also an extremely active supporter of the National PDI and corporate designees served as the chairperson for the opening ceremony at the 2022 PDI in Atlanta Georgia. (They have been exhibitors at the national PDI since 2012.) They were formally known at Morgan Franklin Consulting before becoming BDO.

While one of the greatest impacts of BDO contributions is being a Gold-Star sponsor for Redstone-Huntsville chapter, they are commended for exemplifying great professionalism and servitude in giving back to the Redstone Arsenal and comptroller communities. The local impact of BDO’s contributions is seen in the enormous energy and growth in the  monthly professional development events. Since their involvement and commitment, the chapter has seen a tremendous growth in attendance, permitting more ASMC members to obtain knowledge and skills directly related to their careers. BDO truly promotes professional development in the military comptroller community. BDO is also a Gold Sponsor at this year’s PDI in St Louis- sponsoring a Headshot lounge, permitting attendees to obtain a professional photograph for social media, speaking engagements and other career needs.
