ASMC is proud to offer digital badges as a way for certificants to share and validate their CDFM and CDFM-A designation. A digital badge is essentially an electronic representation of an accomplishment. It enjoys all the benefits of being digital, such as being sharable, verifiable, trackable, and having embedded metadata. With a digital badge, certificants can celebrate that they earned the sign of distinction in defense financial management. All active and certified retired CDFM and CDFM-A certificants will receive online access to their badge through the Accredible platform.
How Digital Credentials Work
Your Certificate without the Wait
If you opted to receive a wall certificate, you will receive your official hardcopy certificate in the mail. But you don’t have to wait to share your digital certificate! Whether you’ve just met all the certification requirements or you are already certified, an email with a unique link will be sent to you.
Badge of Achievement
The digital badge is a verifiable representation of your certification. Celebrate your achievement by sharing your badge across your social platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. When someone clicks on the badge, they can see what the certification represents and that it belongs to you.
Secured with Blockchain
Every credential issued is blockchain registered. That means CDFM and CDFM-A badges and certificates are much harder to fake. Badges and certificates are encoded with metadata showing who issued the certificate or badge, who it was issued to, and details about the certification, including when it will expire. This system makes sure those who have put in the time and effort to meet all the certification requirements are the only ones benefiting from the CDFM certification.
How to Use Your Digital Credentials
When you become certified, you will receive an email with a unique link to a page that displays your digital badge. From here you can manage how your credentials are seen and shared–post to your social media accounts, add to your LinkedIn profile, or embed on your website, directly from your credential view page.
