Back to School Bash, ASMC Sequoyah Chapter gives back

ASMC Sequoyah Chapter members and family members support a local community service project by purchasing, donating, and helping distribute school supplies for needy children.  Almost 500 students benefited from this drive–a Sequoyah Chapter record.  Each student was given a backpack of appropriate supplies for his/her grade level.  In addition, it was a family-friendly event that included a pancake breakfast, face painting, and various games.

Distribution Volunteers Left to Right:  Tamara Webb (and her 3 children Hailee, Chance & Riley), Lorene McDonald,  Robert Weaver, Sonya Weaver, Jeff Leid, Christina MacDonald, and Cindy Ortega.

Items on tables were ASMC’s donated supplies, which were placed in bags/backpacks for distribution.
